Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of birch veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.

Coated plywood with high moisture resistance is coated on both sides with a film coating and can be used for the outer side.

Types of coated plywood:

• F/ F – surfaces on both sides are smooth
• F/ W – flat surface on the one side, reticulate structure on the other side (provides a low degree of slip)
